Introduction

Introduction:

This project is about the topic of drug abuse resistance education.  We feel this is a topic that students should learn about because it is something that impacts the lives of kids in multiple ways.  It could be a parent abusing drugs, a friend, or even themselves.  This topic focuses on drugs, but it also provides students with goal setting and decision making skills.

Purpose of this product:

The purpose of this product is for us, as teachers, to have resources on the topic of D.A.R.E.  This topic is important because it does not only teach children to make good decisions when it comes to drugs, but to also gives them the skills to make good decisions with other things in life.
